Barbara Kruger Book

From Rizzoli New York comes a seminal volume celebrating the career of influential American artist Barbara Kruger, made in collaboration with the artist. The book, titled Barbara Kruger, is the largest collection of Kruger’s work to date, presenting in bold detail her signature radical, type-infused take on commercial graphic design. The book is designed and structured in the vein of a manifesto, all the better to showcase Kruger’s oeuvre of subversive designs and large-scale public works confronting both hot-button topical issues and long-standing grievances with the codes of mass media advertising. Along with contributions from many of the artist’s peers, the book features a host of Kruger’s previously unpublished work.
