At a time when the graffiti world lacked documentation, Martha Cooper had a large part in the showcasing of some of the world’s least known artists. Her work in graffiti world has created lasting impressions through countless photographic journeys. With the ability to work alongside legendary artist Dondi White, she managed to accumulate an unrivaled catalog and unbreakable bonds. 12ozPROPHET founder Allen AKA had a chance to visit the studio of this photographic legend, in the process revealing a look into some interesting artifacts from slides to custom jackets.
Japan’s conceptually rich Neighborhood has unveiled another web-exclusive t-shirt. Keeping in line with Neighborhood’s most recent 1st Ex. Over the weekend, New Design High School in New York’s Lower East Side played host to the Roof Top Rampage Skateboard Showdown. Much like previous Billy Rohan and company initiated skate events including the King of Spring Skateboard Showdown, another strong turnout was on hand. The definitive highlight of the event was Luis Tolentino’s record breaking 45 inch ollie which in the process of setting a world record, also earned him a cool $800 bucks.

Taking a chapter out of kitchenware, Medicom Toy has taken it to an all new level with the creation of a 400% stainless steel Bearbrick. In an interview with Medicom Toy CEO Takao Watanabe, he outlines the difficulty in creating this 13.5 kg (approximately 30 .lbs) toy as well as a new direction in high-end designer toys.
