It’s been awhile since I’ve mentioned my beloved DGK/RBK so I’m gonna throw a full update at ya.
First of all, Transworld Business Magazine has a great article online covering the story behind Stevie Williams/DGK’s partnership with Reebok. Oh and here’s another interview by SGV.
Second, the new colorways of DGK/RBK’s that were supposed to come out in December just dropped at the end of January, and are now available at The Kayo Store.
And last but not least, if you wanna see the team in action, check out the coverage of their recent Hong Kong Tour at HKSkateboarding. The video is sick.
Stussy’s Creative Director, Paul Mittleman, is the newest member of Honeyee’s ever-growing community of bloggers. He brought with him news of an upcoming Stussy Skull New Era Cap:
In NYC the New Era cap has been worn for a long, long time as a banner quality and pride. These caps are made and worn with the integrity of what our culture is about.
Before the 80’s uptown was hip-hop and down town was punk rock, during that decade these cultures started to mutate into a wonderful thing. Music, style and culture were forever changed.
These caps were inspired by that notion and as a reminder that things will always be mixed and remixed, in new ways, now and forever.
They will be released soon in all Stussy stores and select retailers, world wide.
