Finally, I had my appointment at the Berlin Nike ID Store! And what can I say, it was big fun! Read on to learn more about the procedure…

After passing the name-check, I was lead to the selection. They have all the shoes from the selection in a neutral grey to choose the size. After that, you pass over to the computers, where some really nice and gentle girls help you choose the colors of your shoe. In my case this was a Air Force One, of course, because it`s exclusive to the ID Stores and not available online. Sure, everyone of us has it`s own dream-colorway, but not every wish can be fullfilled. This is still Nike ID and not bentley…
Anyway, there were really dope colorways possible, and what really excited me was that you have the “inside out” sole option!
When the design process is done, you get a print of your shoe and some color cards with the chosen colors. This is nice, because you don`t leave with empty hands…

Over all, I really like the concept of the store, it is just a totally different feeling than designing a ID sneaker online.
Thanks to the good guys of Nike Berlin for letting me do a shoe for free…and thanks to Solebox Berlin!

New Air Force 1 Mid.

New Air Force 1 Mid.

This release really came unsuspected. At first glance, you might dismiss these as one of the hoop heat package, or some Tony Parker AF1 mids, but on closer inspection, you will realize this is an entirely new release. The panels alternate between obsidian and white, and the color placement is similar to that of the Atmos Air Force 1’s. The Swoosh is a nice grey to to help break up the monotones. Currently, no information regarding a US release. Pictures from Loop Limited Shoes
