Really nice, detailed decor prepared by Metro-Farm. Only for very special release at the very special place.
We have pictures of individually numbered 1 – 2006 (next year there is Football World Cup in Germany) limited edition package. The whole set includes a book about Brazilian football culture, 12 inch vinyl, CD, DVD (with Ginga the movie) and official Nike x Brazil football!!
You can get this package. In store only at Nort Berlin with a pair from Nike Bonita Court Force Pack.
After picking up shoes, you could head over to 103 for Nike event the Joga Bonito Launch. With artwork by Os Gemeos, Ginga the Movie you could feel the Brazilian way of football. The exibition took place at the top floor, while music and bars were available for guests pleasure at the lower levels.
The movie is football version of Hoop Dreams with the Brazilian twist. Tells the stories of kids from different walks of life. They share the same goal – to become a pro football star. If you still don’t know Football is religion in Brazil. People love and cherish it. With such a devotion and support they just have to be the best. (Have you ever seen Brazilian Football Female fans??!!)
Brazil has it’s stable place in world of pop culture and lifestyle. It seems, that Nike took it to another level hoping to put a little Ginga into your daily routine. With artwork, great music and the football it looks like they manged to seed the grass roots.
When you look at the pictures, you only get the fraction of atmosphere, but the place was packed and people had time of their lives.
I’ve got to tell you The Brazilian Funk is the next thing. It definatelly should go broader audience. It’s the new Ragga. With the DJ’s and amazing dancer/MC they have necessary all assets.
