I'm sure that all or at least most of us take things for granted for granted in our lives. What do you take for granted?

I'm a very appreciative person but I think I take my family household for granted. We aren't rich... Matter fact I grew up in the hood. Don't live with them anymore but compared to others I'm good.

I can take a nicely cooked meal for granted

Sure. Tons of stuff. Not the least of which: indoor plumbing, heating, air conditioning, cars, international flights, bars, friends, a comfy bed, cuddly puppies, good wine....

Health insurance under my mom.

I prefer carcinogens to endorphins.

i was just thinking about this yesterday fam. I was on my way home from walgreens and there was this lady crossin the street. Her legs were like messed up, like her knee was permanently bent to the left or some shit. She had a horrible limp man.

I just skated around her but that shit got me thinking how lucky I am.

Can't take my parents for granted. Pops working hard to provide for all 3 of his kids. By doing that he has bought a house and a car for me. My mom always makes food and brings it over even tho i never ask.

Honestly, my family. My mother specifically, as she's the only parent I have. I barely see her on the weekdays by the time I get home. She's the only one that asks how my day went and is genuinely interested.

Cue the tears.

May your neighbors respect you, trouble neglect you, angels protect you, and heaven accept you.

Sometimes I'll buy a new piece of clothing or sneakers and it will be dope to me but then I get anxious if I see someone else wearing something similar or the knock off it makes me not want to wear it anymore. But however I'm happy Gucci doesn't go on sale

My mom tells me once a while how different I have it from her when she was growing back in the homeland. I guess you can say I do take a lot of things for granted but she opens my eyes and just makes me appreciate what her and my dad has done for me. I'm jealous of all these white kids in my city who got daddy and mommy paying for their cars and shit, but I look at my mom and dad, and say fuck it, I'll work hard for mine.
