Best Buy Will Become the First Major Retail Chain to Sell the Apple Watch
Not so exclusive anymore.
According to a statement released this past Sunday, Best Buy will become the first national retail chain to sell the Apple Watch when more than a 100 locations will start carrying 16 different models including the Sport and Watch editions, as well as various accessories that aren’t available in Apple stores. The Minnesota-based company has also revealed an additional 200 stores will be receiving the device by holiday season, while the chain’s webstore will also put it on sale. According to Jason Bonfig, Best Buy’s Senior Category Officer, “The Apple Watch is an important addition to an emerging product category, and we know our customers want it,” particularly with the holiday seasons coming up in a couple of months.
