Johnnie Walker Blue Label introduces a tale of competition like no other with “The Gentleman’s Wager.” Shot in the Virgin Islands by British director Jake Scott, the short film has Jude Law going toe-to-toe against fellow actor Giancarlo Gianni for ownership of a 1928 “rarer than rare” Italian boat, the Varraze. While we might be used to seeing Law winning his on-screen battles a certain way, for this stand-off he brings out his most powerful secret weapon: dance.
“The Gentlemen’s Wager” is less about competing than it is literally taking a step out of one’s comfort zone to win something that can’t be bought and by the looks of it, both Gianni and Law are certainly came out tied-for-first in that regard. Both stars look like they had nothing short of a memorable experience shooting the film with Law particularly enjoying the new moves he picked up along the way.
Johnnie Walker Blue Label is the premier brand in blended scotch whisky with its signature blend drawn from the highest quality of whisky found in only 1 in 10,000 casks. Distinguished by a base of dry smokiness accented by the sweetness of raisins, each sip thereafter reveals layers of hazelnuts, honey and citrus and bold hints of tobacco, dark chocolate and more.
