TMZ Workspace in LA

Notorious entertainment news company TMZ recently had their Los Angeles headquarters reworked by fellow Californians Rapt Studio. With the intention of resembling an empty warehouse space through the use of plywood, corrugated metal and concrete, a pseudo-industrial feel is created for the space. The center of the TMZ workspace is of course the 9,000-square-foot newsroom from which Harvey Levin orchestrates. Interestingly enough, these latest imagery provide some insight into the origins of TMZ’s namesake – for those who may not have known, the abbreviation is a reference to the studio zone, also known as the thirty-mile zone.
