Lorde continues to keep her name in headlines. The Pure Heroine songstress has shared another track from her self-curated Hunger Games soundtrack, and it’s a cover of Bright Eyes‘ 2011 offering, “Ladder Song.” Originally featured on Bright Eyes’ eighth studio album, The People’s Key, the ballad is quite different from the Lorde we’ve heard on the “Don’t Tell Em” cover and recent soundtrack leaks. However, Lorde’s strength as a vocalist remains the same. You can check out Lorde’s take on “Ladder Song” above, while the soundtrack for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 will hit retailers on November 18.
