In its continuing campaign to encourage more political engagement and voting turnout among young Americans, Rock the Vote has released a fairly incomprehensible video. Featuring celebrities such as Lil Jon, Lena Dunham, Whoopi Goldberg and celebrity fitness coach Tracy Anderson, the iconic characters are in a call to action to vote in the upcoming midterm elections on November 4. In a maelstrom of confetti, each person responds to the hashtag #TURNOUTFORWHAT with what they are voting for, be it gun control, marriage, racial equality or climate change reforms, set against the backing track of Lil Jon’s “Turn Down For What.” Would this video change your mind about voting?
