Heritage boating apparel brand Sebago may not be the first entity that calls to mind when mentioning Linkin Park, but the two staples have collaborated recently on a venture to help victims of Hurricane Sandy. Released under the realm of Music For Relief – a grassroots effort started by Linkin Park in 2004 to aid those affected by the Indian Ocean earthquake and subsequent tsunami – this collaboration is another one of many schemes aimed to benefit those affected by natural disasters. Crafted with strong reference to the rap-rock band’s staunch demeanor, the upper features meticulous stitching alongside rawhide laces, metal eyelets, and debossed logos at the heel and tongue over a blend of nubuck and leather. Limited in quantity, proceeds of the sales will go towards victims of the hurricane. Priced at $250 USD, the boots are now available from the Sebago online store, and head over to the Music For Relief webpage for more on the organization.
