Farhot featuring Ms. Dynamite - Painkiller

Despite five platinum records on his wall — which he earned through his production work for the likes of Nneka, Selah Sue and Talib Kweli — Farhot has been buzzing under the insider’s radar for the most part of his career so far. In order to increase his overall presence in the industry, the German-Afghan producer has now joined forces with Ms. Dynamite for his new single “Painkiller.” Serving as a dedication tune to his family’s hometown, the mostly instrumental song speaks its own musical language and aesthetic with influences ranging from hip-hop to classic Afghan music and reggae elements.
