Short Stories (Koreless & Sampha) - Let It Go

Short Stories is the collaborative work of Glasgow based producer Koreless and London’s Sampha. The former is best known for his emotive iteration to progressive 2-step, while the latter is the hypnotic voice behind SBTRKT’s live performance. Both talents sit firmly on the the ever-evolving UK bass atlas, delivering a slew of astute productions in their own realm. While ” Let It Go” previewed for a few esoteric ears via Short Stories’s Boiler Room performance last year, now the audio leak is available for our listening pleasure. Sampha steps away from vocal duty this time and joins Koreless in the lab, delivering a translucent narrative with eerie bleeps and warm reverbs signature to Koreless, alongside soft vocal renditions over synth-driven basslines prominent in Sampha’s production.  ”Let It Go” is the B-side to their debut single, now available from Young Turks. Check the melodic track above and let us know your thoughts below.
