You know you’ve got something special when your album is so good that people listen to it five months after its initial release, Jay-Z blesses your hit track with a remix, and even the producers of national late night shows can’t deny your universal appeal. Such is the case with Kendrick Lamar, who after performances on Conan, Jimmy Fallon and David Letterman, performs live versions of “B*tch, Don’t Kill My Vibe” and “Poetic Justice” on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Though for obvious reasons, these versions of the songs are censored, a jazzy backup band adds a nice sonic flair to these renditions.
