DJ Premier's "Black Fist Friday" guest mix on HOT 97

The host of HOT 97’s popular Throwback at Noon, Mister Cee takes pride in educating a new audience on the classic hip-hop and R&B of years’ past. This year, every Friday for the whole month of February to commemorate black history month, he’s enlisted a panel of guest DJs and producers to put together an hour-long mix. Last week Questlove of the legendary Roots crew formulated an impressive J Dilla tribute set, while this week finds one of the all time greats in DJ Premier, putting together a plethora of old school classics that might strike a familiar chord with some of the rap songs you hear today.
