Joey Bada$$ – Waves (Live on Jimmy Fallon)

As is common with the Late Night show with Jimmy Fallon, the TV show host premiers yet another artist to watch out for. Resident NYC rapper Joey Bada$$ does an excellent live rendition of “Waves” from his debut 1999 mixtape, hosted by the Pro Era crew who will be delivering a new Bada$$ mixtape come December 21. For now, enjoy the flurry of smoothly executed bars from the rapper, backed up by the ever-talented The Roots band in the video above.
