《地獄樂》與 《咒術迴戰》 及 《鏈鋸人》齊名，作為粉絲口中的「暗黑少年三巨頭」之一，三部作品皆由 MAPPA 製作——第 2 季有望延續作品標誌性的凌厲動作、心理張力與引人注目的視覺表現，並在 Yūji Kaku 所構築的暗黑世界觀上，以更精緻的動畫加以呈現。
