Russo 兄弟導演解釋為何不承認《Avengers: Endgame》電影標題

各位都有印象在《Avengers: Infinity War》中，Doctor Strange 便曾說出「EndGame」這個字眼，當時有網民便開始猜測接下來的電影名稱便是《Avengers: Endgame》，但是 Russo 兄弟導演卻在之後出席的場合上均否認，並說標題不可能出現在《Avengers: Infinity War》電影裡頭。然而事隔一年官方釋出的名稱正正便是「Endgame」，那何以當初 Russo 兄弟導演要說謊呢？最近他們接受 SLASHFLIM 訪問時，便給予了機會讓他們澄清。首先 Anthony Russo 便開了一個玩笑：

No one ever said ‘Avengers: Endgame’ [in the movie.]

然後他和 Joe Russo 便開始解釋，因為電影的事情一直在轉變，在正式發佈前一年，是不可能做出任何明確的事情，儘管有放映師不小心地將標題寫在他的簡歷上，但大家都應該知道，它有可能到最終也不是電影標題。是直到我們真正坐下來看到預告片時，我們才知道是確認取用「Endgame」作為標題。因此在發佈之前，我們都是有權利去保密及尊重職業操守，保護我們選擇的創造性及完整性。

So when people are asking us questions a year before release… And look, they have the right and that’s their job but we also have the right and it’s our job to protect the creative integrity of our choices. And you don’t want to be trapped into, and pressured into choices in the same way that a writer wants to feel like they’re getting accurate answers out of us – There are no accurate answers a year out!

那麼這個解釋各位又認為值得信服嗎？不過最近他們都坦承《Avengers: Endgame》最新預告片段非正片劇情，當初他們不承認標題是「Endgame」，或許也是一個宣傳策略，用來增加曝光率及話題性，反正各位也被 Marvel Studios「騙」了這麼久，最終內容在下周自有分曉，各位不妨密切期待着。
