Nick Knight

Fashion photographer Nick Knight is a legend in his own right, publishing his first Vogue cover in 1993. Since then, the esteemed multi-disciplinary creative has extended his craft to documentary photography, web publishing and in 2000, founding and directing the fashion website SHOWstudio.com. Never one to shy away from controversial issues, Knight has always been vocal about difficult issues and is a sought-after voice when it comes to pushing the boundaries of conventional beauty. Extending well beyond the confines of fashion photography, Knight’s studio made headlines this year by hosting a very quote-worthy interview with Kanye West, as well as releasing a never-before-seen interview with the late Alexander McQueen. This year has also been a particularly monumental one for the icon, with SHOWstudio announcing the launch of its first ever film fashion award. With Nick Knight himself known as one of the pioneers of the fashion film genre, the polymath has provided a means for his legacy to continue for generations to come. Rounding off 2015, SHOWstudio announced that it would be presenting a charity auction with Opening Ceremony via a limited-edition capsule collection featuring the works of buzz-worthy embroidery artist James Merry.
