Overseeing a large part of Nike SB’s design direction, James Arizumi has been an important part of Nike’s skateboarding puzzle. However for the Hawaiian native, he made an interesting move, leaving the familiarity of skateboarding for another one of Nike’s big businesses: Nike Golf. While we’ve yet to see the outcome of this transition, one cannot help but think of the swagger and new found approach to design that somebody of Arizumi’s experience and success with Nike Skateboarding can bring to a more traditional avenue.
