Dita Eyewear was started by Jeff Solorio and John Juniper in 1996 and have worked with top designers in Japan including Undercover, Roen and Hysteric Glamour. The latest collaboration is with Hong Kong’s SiLLY THiNG on a pair of sunglasses. The owner of SiLLY THiNG, TK, has gave us a sneak peek of the sample sunglasses. Stay tuned for more information.

Juno of Hong Kong lifestyle brand SiLLY THING has teamed up with Japanese jewelry and accessories label JAM HOME MADE on a pair of sunglasses. The new direction of SiLLY THING has been foreshadowed by many as ST looks to present a more mature aesthetic, which is signified by this collaboration. Most North American’s most likely won’t bat an eye at this recent Double Quarter Pounder promotion done by McDonalds Hong Kong in conjunction with Hong Kong lifestyle brand SiLLY THING, then again North American women don’t look like pre-adolescent boys either. If you’ve ever ventured into Hong Kong for more then a few days, Octopus Cards are pretty much standard fare. The rechargeable cards allow you to pay for anything from mass transportation to groceries and corner store products all via touchless radio waves. TK of SiLLY THING was on hand to design a special Octopus card in association with Radio 903’s Skyhigh Charity program. A whole list of collaborators can be seen here. The cards will go on sale this Saturday.

The friendship between singer Eason Chan and TK of Hong Kong’s SiLLY THING produced a special limited edition t-shirt for Eason’s latest string of concerts. Titled "Eason’ Moving On Stage 1", the heather gray t-shirt includes stylistic sparkle print, manufactured under great detail in Japan by Kazuki from fragment design. The detailing extends further into the presentation of the package.

SiLLY THING x Amos Toys Chapel of Dawn Wrestling Elves Updated

Earlier this month, TK from SiLLY THING previewed their latest foray into the toy segment with their Chapel of Dawn Wrestling Elves created in association with Amos Toys. It was said that much thought and mathematically equations were needed to produce a figure which could replicate the same vision as seen on Juno Mak’s album art for his disc Chapel of Dawn. The album art was originally conceived by James Jarvis. Here’s a new updated look providing a view of both the Elves wrestling and separated. The Elves represent a struggle between good and bad. Look for these to hit the Amos Shop and SiLLY THING outlets at the end of November.
