Silas 10th Anniversary Collection

The Silas x Wired H collaboration to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the British brand was effective foreshadowing as a whole collection has now been revealed. Silas will celebrate their 10 years with collaborations featuring both Reebok and knitwear brand John Smedley. Among the items from a footwear point are the NPC and Classic Leather while John Smedley’s collaboration will lead the way with polos and shirts. Other commemorative releases will include graphic t-shirts. With a strong distribution focused mainly in Japan, these may prove to be difficult to acquire elsewhere in the world. Source: Silas

The British brand Silas incorporates art, culture and music into its fashion. This ten year old brand will be opening two new flagship SILAS & MARIA stores in Omiya and Nagoya, Japan. To commemorate the opening of these stores, they will release a limited edition mesh cap and an environment friendly tote bag. Silas 10th Anniversary x WIRED h Watch

Silas, the English brand, has teamed up with Seiko’s WIRED h on a AGHH711 watch for Silas’ 10th anniversary celebration. We have previously seen another version of this watch and now here is the Zozotown (a huge Japanese online store) version of it. This version features a brown leather band instead of the black seen previously. Also on the corner of the watch face are 10 black rhinestones signifying the 10th anniversary. These watches are limited to only 100 pieces and will be released in April. Available soon at Fieil.

Ten years ago, Russell Waterman and Sofia Prantera founded Silas, and although the two have since parted ways they created a revolutionary brand. Incorporating various projects outside of clothing into their brand, they defined the notion of a true lifestyle label with art and toys among other things. Their 10th Anniversary in 2008 reveals an upcoming collaboration with Seiko sub-brand Wired H. Known for their radio frequency synchronization watches, this watch also features a croc leather band as well as bezel design and logos. Available in February through Wired H.
