After Cheap Monday caught wind of a an upcoming Cali Color Party” (scroll to the bottom), the affordable denim label stepped in to offer their own contribution to the party. Themed after the Un-Milkfed Reebok Pastelle pack, a limited run of hand-dyed denim was created in Cheap Monday’s local Swedish factory. 20 colors of each color are available with a price tag of € 44 EUR (approximately $68 USD). Although most trends have all but dismissed bright colors, Caliroots are continuing to buck the trend and embracing bright colors. The denim will release in-store later today at 7:00 pm local time and online at 9:00 pm local time at caliroots.com.
Swedish label Cheap Monday are perhaps best known as the purveyors of inexpensive raw denim. The popular Scandinavian brand has just released a classic parka perfect for the upcoming colder months. A nylon shell offers protection against the elements with a quilted lining. The rest of the jacket offers great convenience with a large variety of pockets (including inner iPod and wallet pockets). An over-sized hood can customized with a strap and button on the top. Three different colors, black, brown and blue are available now at Caliroots.
