Hooking up with the legendary Spalding company, Flight Club sticks to their basketball roots
In two separate partnerships, Roen produced a mesh cap with Spalding and a t-shirt with MTV. The overused skull motif is at the backdrop of each design which leads us to wonder, how many Japanese brands can lay claim to the skull and bones as their logo. The t-shirt with MTV features a highly detailed print complete with tassels, studs, sequins and metal hoops.

Skulls and guns are imagery that are often used by the Japanese brand Roen in their collections. Roen is also known for working with companies that you’ll never guess they’ll work with such as Disney. Now, they have collaborated with another company that you’ll never associate Roen with and that Spalding, the one of the biggest manufacturers of balls. Together, the two companies have produced a simple fleece zip up parker which feature “Spalding” embroidered on the left chest area. This collabo might be too simple for our taste but if that’s your steez, then you can get it at Cliffedge.
Earlier this year, UNDFTD and sports company Spalding teamed up together to create a special ball for the 2007 NBA All-Star game in Las Vegas. The two are at it again this time creating a ball for sale during the Paper 24 Hour Department Store. The 24 Hour Department Store is a collaborative effort between 25 different labels which in turn is part of the L.A. Project presented by Paper Mag. Some of the brands involved include Opening Ceremony, Supreme, UNDFTD, and FUCT. This ball will be available at 6:00 pm on Friday, November 9th.
