Medicom Toy’s Bearbrick series have updated to showcase upcoming collections of Bearbricks set to release within the next few months. The collaborations include the movie Todd Sweeney, Coconist, UNDFTD (Tokyo 1 Year Anniversary), World Wildlife Federation, Pepsi Nex, Montage and TMT among others. There are quite a few 50% keychains releasing this time around as well. Information including release dates can be seen here.
In a recent blog post from TK (of Hong Kong lifestyle group SiLLY THING), he speaks of an upcoming Medicom Toy Bearbrick exhibition set to take place in China’s capital next month. Maybe its something Olympic related? The only detail TK revealed was a blank Bearbrick template however the concept seems similar to the project initiated by Nike South East Asia to commemorate the Windrunner. Stay tuned for more details on this artist exhibition.
Look for Japanese manga series Naruto to be created into Bearbrick form in an upcoming collaboration. The Naruto series follows the main character Naurto as he develops as a ninja and endures personal growth. This however is the Sasuke Uchiha edition which is a character who often competes with Naruto. No word yet on availability.

Personalities seen within the 1968 cartoon Yellow Submarine inspired by The Beatles have made the jump onto an upcoming set of Bearbricks from Medicom Toys. Debuting at the height of psychedelic pop culture movement, the cartoon certainly doesn’t disappoint as each Bearbrick is dressed according to the cartoons they represent. A three minute trailer can be seen over at Youtube. Pre-orders have begun in Japan, but no word yet on a stateside release.

We have previously seen the 1000% Fendi Bearbricks which were produced for VIP members of Fendi only. If you missed out on that, you can check it out here. However, nothing compares in size to this really huge Bearbrick which stands in one of the Fendi stores in Paris. You probably won’t be able to purchase this as this is probably a store display. So for now, all we can do is just look at the pictures and drool.
Update: There is apparently one of these at the 5th Avenue Fendi store in Manhattan, New York as well. (Thanks Matthew!)
