Achievement

Serving as the busiest person in the culture, Virgil Abloh had a whirlwind 2019 that forced the multi-disciplinary creative to miss Off-White™’s Spring/Summer 2020 Paris Fashion Week presentation after being hit with a doctor imposed medical leave. This year the fashion designer, entrepreneur, artist, and DJ, continued to carve out his place at Louis Vuitton serving as the menswear Artistic Director and took Off-White™ to new heights as Chief Executive Officer. Virgil also took the lead on collaborations with EVIAN, IKEA and most importantly Nike, which has resulted in an onslaught of sell-out releases that don’t show signs of slowing down the partnership. In addition to a highly talked about set at Coachella this year, Virgil also held a monumental art exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago dubbed "Figures of Speech." The expansive display chronicled Virgil’s creative journey over the years and was accompanied by a monograph, Nike Air Force 1 collaborations and an array of merchandise.
