Achievement
At just 31 years of age, few menswear designers have experienced a meteoric rise quite like Craig Green’s. In just a few short years, the young Brit has gone from being a Topman intern and Central Saint Martins graduate to the forefront of contemporary forward-thinking menswear. With a penchant for relaxed tailoring and approachable color palettes, Green has become a modernist vanguard for the gender-neutral wave – there’s a reason his pieces can be found in both the menswear and womenswear sections of your favorite shops and on the backs of Drake, Rihanna, Marilyn Manson and FKA twigs alike. Crowned as the British Menswear Designer of the Year for 2016, Green kicked off this year with a scene-stealing show at London Fashion Week Men’s, debuting an elaborate ensemble for the fall/winter season that was unlike anything he’d showcased before. Green even got his first taste of Hollywood, working alongside Ridley Scott’s go-to costume designer, Jany Yates, to outfit the Covenant’s crew in the latest Alien installment before joining forces with Moncler for the most incredible Alpine outerwear this side of Grenoble.
