As the son of skateboard legend Steve Olson, Alex Olson has worked tirelessly to make a name for himself independent of his legacy. He skated for both Vans and Girl Skateboards at a young age, and has since become known for his notable work within photography and fashion. Alex’s clothing brand Bianca Chandôn appeals to a range of audiences beyond the confines of skate culture, while his surprise second label, Call Me 917, takes a more skate-centric approach with a range of decks and graphic tees. This past year, Olson has continued his partnership with Dover Street Market, collaborated with Nike Skateboarding, modeled in Supreme’s photo editorials, and hosted a slew of Know Wave internet radio shows.
