Dover Street Market's Talented Pals Drop Exclusive Lunar New Year T-Shirts
Awake NY, Clot, Nike, Noah and more serve up Year of the Ox goods.
As it’s been doing every year, Dover Street Market has prepped a slate of exclusive shirts for the upcoming Lunar New Year. Realigning with some of its talented pals, the retailer is serving up a variety of thematic designs from heavy-hitting labels ranging from Awake NY to L’Art de l’Automobile.
This drop keeps in line with Dover Street Market’s past Lunar New Year collections, uniting a variety of like-minded DSM labels and creatives for a series of approachable, affordable one-off designs never to be reproduced. As usual, the resulting designs are playful and wholly distinct yet clearly intertwined around the animal theme at the core of each yearly celebration.
Aside from CLOT‘s riff on a Chinese work jacket, the capsule is informed primarily by colorful graphic tees, with nearly two-dozen unique designs on hand. ERL opts for a football-style shirt while Brain Dead, Honey Fucking Dijon and Irak keep things simple, silhouette-wise. Nike, meanwhile, delivers a trio of shirts emblazoned with identical oxen imagery, offered in three distinct color palettes.
