shouldnt that shirt be in a museum somewhere?
May 29, 2008 @ 16:23
If a Barbara Kruger shirt is that big of a deal this is probably fake. It looks like it's been worn maybe twice and I found it at a thrift shop for god's sake. I'd appreciate if anyone could help me authenticate it or find more information. Google hasn't helped me much so far.
May 29, 2008 @ 16:45
^it's really not that big of a deal, outside hypebeast's obsession with Supreme, Barbara Kruger isn't that big of a deal in the art world and it's not like her actual art pieces are made for t-shirts anyway. This is like buying a t-shirt with Munch's The Scream on it or a poster of Picasso's Guernica, I doubt it's really worth much to anyone besides maybe a few Hypbeasts and it could probably be bought at an art museum that has her works in it for cheap, making fakes unlikely. Just my take on it...

^^cosign that but good find anyway...

triumvir3 parodied supreme/kruger recently suggesting theyve (kruger and supreme) mass produced kruger's art so much that its lost all value as a legitimate form of art...or something like that
