Gen Narumi Takes the Spotlight in New ‘Kaiju No. 8’ Season 2 Teaser Trailer
It appears Production I.G. have finally fixed the design for this fan-favorite character.
Following the previous update on Kaiju No.8 Season 2, TOHO has finally unveiled a new teaser trailer for the anime’s upcoming installment at yesterday’s AnimeJapan 2025 event.
While viewers are given a glimpse into some of the events that will be prevailed in Season 2, the highlight of this trailer is Gen Narumi, the First Division Captain of the Defense Force and a fan-favorite character from the original manga, who will also play a fundamental role in the new season. Narumi made his brief, first appearance in the last episode of Season 1, but has left fans disappointed with the underwhelming adaptation of his character design for the anime However, in the new teaser trailer, Production I.G. has significantly addressed this issue with a much more refined representation of Narumi.
