Audi Launches All New 630 HP RS Q8 Performance

Audi has introduced the new RS Q8 performance, a high-powered addition to its SUV lineup. With an impressive 630 hp and 626 lb-ft of torque, it now holds the title of Audi Sport GmbH’s most powerful SUV. This vehicle not only boasts enhanced performance but also a sleek, expressive exterior, marked by new, lighter wheels.

The RS Q8 performance has set a new benchmark for production SUVs, completing the Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit in just 7:36.698 minutes. Audi Sport boss Rolf Michl credits this record to the synergy of the V8 engine and advanced chassis components.

Alongside the RS Q8 performance, Audi has also updated the RS Q8. Both models come with an optimized, self-locking center differential for superior driving dynamics and everyday usability. The exterior design includes a new front apron, a distinct honeycomb structure and dual oval tailpipes, highlighting their sporty nature.

The RS Q8 performance accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds, outpacing the RS Q8’s 3.8 seconds. Both models feature adaptive air suspension sport and optional electromechanical active roll stabilization for an ideal balance of sportiness and comfort.

Interior options include new RS design packages in red, gray, or blue, with exclusive features like Alcantara-covered steering wheels and contrasting stitching. High-tech Matrix LED headlights and customizable digital OLED rear lights enhance safety and aesthetics.

The new Q8 models will be available to order from June 27, with the performance model starting at €155,700 EUR or $167,000 USD.
