“California’s best-kept skateboarding secret” is a lofty laud for any up-and-comer in skateboarding, but Etnies‘ newest rider just might live up to said expectation. Bellflower, California’s Chris Joslin joins the ranks of fellow hucker Ryan Sheckler in smashing fashion, landing on skateboarding’s collective radar with six minutes of footage. Not unlike Sheckler himself, Joslin seems to have an eye for the gnarliest of spots, throwing casual full rotations down well-revered gaps and stair sets. If Joslin were a rapper, this part would be the equivalent of calling out hip-hop legends in his debut mixtape.
