C.E x BEAMS x Vans 2013 Summer Era

Here we take a closer look at a highlight from the C.E. x BEAMS x Vans collaborative endeavor, the custom Era for Summer 2013. As with the apparel side of the collection, the crossover finds the iconic Era silhouette outfitted with a specially designed ‘bug’ motif, symbolic of the impact technology has on popular culture. Both the toecap and heel counter are beautifully executed in a pale oxford blue, while the mid-portion of the upper is offered in a tonal grey. These features rest atop a clean white outsole with classic foxing details and the signature waffle bottom sole. The C.E. x BEAMS x Vans 2013 summer Era will be available from BEAMS both in-store and online beginning Saturday, June 8 for ¥9,450 JPY (approximately $94 USD).
