PORT Magazine: Hiroki Nakamura Dissects the visvim 2013 Fall/Winter Collection

Following the news that visvim is set to launch a women’s line dubbed WMV comes an interview with Hiroki Nakamura himself via PORT Magazine. Sitting down with PORT‘s David Hellqvist at visvim’s Paris showroom, Nakamura shed some light on his beloved label’s upcoming Fall/Winter 2013 collection – specifically focusing on two different sweaters amongst the designs. While distinctly visvim, the two pieces take on completely different aesthetics – one focusing on the rough strength of heritage Americana, the other inspired by the traditional crochet method of French artisans – thus exhibiting the thought, consideration, research and production techniques that go into creating the brand’s universally renowned designs.
