METAPHORE Tote Bags and Wallets

New from METAPHORE, a Japanese brand dedicated to “exploring the cultural aspects and functional beauty” of garments and accessories, comes this very well-designed selection of tote bags and wallets. The bags, which come in both a large and small size, are crafted out of pure black cotton and feature a front netted portion also made out of a thick cotton weave instead of the usual choice of nylon. In terms of the wallets, they are crafted from a sumptuous chocolate leather in collaboration with Japanese brand WILDSWANS. It’s nice to see some simple, useful and versatile products coming out of the workshop of a newer brand like METAPHORE. The full collection is available starting mid-August at BRIDGE from ¥26,250 JPY (approximately $333 USD) to ¥40,950 JPY (approximately $520 USD).
