Drake parts ways with management and agents

“Drake just felt like there were too many hands in his pockets” and “he was getting pulled in too many directions,” that’s what a source of the New York Post stated about the Canadian-born rapper/singer. As a result, Drizzy has shown the door to his managers Gee Roberson, Al Branch, Kyambo Joshua and Bryant Cortez of Hip Hop Since 1978, and also parted ways with his agents Dana Sims and Robert Gibbs at International Creative Management.
William Morris Endeavor agent Brent Smith’s assistant had also confirmed that the agency’s services had been acquired by the Cash Money artist. The source went on to state that a major contributing factor to the change in management/agency staff was the conflict between Drake’s original management team in Canada and the people who came in later down the line, citing “his team from Canada is trying to wrestle back control.”
It seems that Drake is looking to start afresh with a blank canvas as things were getting too complicated behind the scenes, following the massive success he’s achieved in the last two years.
