Showcasing the photographic side of his artistic arsenal, Futura’s work graces the cover of LTD Magazine’s 2008 Winter issue. As touched upon this year, the New York-based artist spent sometime attending Major League Baseball’s ballparks, capturing the essence of each “cathedral of the game”, hours before the players even set foot on the field. The issue, having just released, is now available at select newsstands nationwide.

Further info from Futura:

“What started in June with a game at Yankee Stadium, would become a three month Odyssey-Obsession to visit as many Ballpark’s as was humanly possible. With schedule&logistic conflicts to be considered via trains, planes and automobiles, I would ultimately reach my goal of 24 Stadiums.

Next year I will be back on the road to visit the remaining 6 Ballpark’s, in addition to both of the new stadiums here in New York City, at such time my Archive of all the MLB venues will be complete. The ultimate mission that became as addictive as my need for cotton candy”
