The educational institution is perhaps best known as a relationship between pupil and teacher. However, to jeffstaple education in reality far extends the confines of the classroom and that of a teacher. This collection called “Only the Educated are Free” emphasizes the often solitary journey required in hopes of attaining that freedom associated with education.
The Staple 2007 Fall/Winter Collection features an extensive division of garments such as outerwear, bottoms, tops, t-shirts, sweatshirts and accessories. Much of the outerwear, bottoms and tops derive their highlights from a high attention to quality and cut with minimal graphics and branding. Conversely, you’ll find some some interesting designs in relation to the aforementioned education theme for the rest of the collection. Some of the items have already released at select dealers.
As a follow-up to the recent collaboration between DC Comics and A Bathing Ape, a second round of the collaborative items are set to be released. The first released was marked by a series of Bapestas and knitted sweaters. Among the new releases, you’ll find Roadstas in colorways inspired by Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and the Flash to compliment a range of sweaters and hats.

Look for this highly refined All-City Crewneck sweater from 3sixteen’s 2nd Fall shipment for 2007 soon. This cut and sew sweater used the classic American varsity jacket as the blueprint to the design. The sweater is marked by script embroidery on the front with applique letters seen on the rear. These 370 gram open ended fleece sweaters are finished with heavy ribbing on the cuff and waist. The last touch, often unseen on crewnecks is the inclusion of a pair of side pockets. This new redefined fit and cut will become the new standard for all 3sixteen crewneck sweaters.
