Novelty items for the Japanese brand’s pop-up location.
Japanese streetwear imprint C.E already revealed it would be showcasing its most recent collection alongside some limited edition apparel throughout its month-long “Short Term Retail Experiment” at BEAUTY & YOUTH UNITED ARROWS’ Harajuku location. A special visual and audio production made specifically for the occasion was also said to be exhibited but that doesn’t seem to be the last of surprises. The graphic mastermind behind the Tokyo-based imprint, Sk8thing, has made a series of cassette tapes that will be distributed to select customers over the course of every week, with each of them containing a pre-recorded mixtape that will not be available anywhere else (in true mysterious C.E fashion). Five different artworks paying homage to the likes of C.E collaborators and affiliates Matt Damhave, Call Super and Kassem Mosse among others will be distributed over the temporary pop-up’s timespan.
