As his latest project, the Montreal Metro Project is photographer Chris Forsyth‘s visual exploration of his home city’s subway stations, shot in October 2014. Shooting long-exposure shots of the stations when they were devoid of people, Forsyth shifts one’s attention to the striking designs of some of Montreal’s 68 metro stations — each one designed by a different architect and reflective of the architectural trends, such as Brutalism and Modernism, that were dominant during the construction of the metro system in the ’60s and ’70s. For a more in-depth understanding of Forsyth’s methodology in the Montreal Metro Project, read his interview with ArchDaily here.
