Very much parallel to the brand he masterfully curates, Frank Muytjens splits himself between city and country. The Head of Menswear Design for J.Crew, when not lounging in his Williamsburg week spot, spends weekends nested in a Hillsdale, New York abode. The home looks almost exactly as one would expect: vintage drawings hang on white-washed walls, contrasting an assortment of rugs the wooden floors; tables and wire chairs of varying origin clash with – or better yet, balance – each other. The shelves are lined with thick, informative books on your choice of architecture, history, photography and more. Burgeoning design authority TRNK was given an exclusive peek inside the home of one of menswear’s greatest advocates, painting a portrait of a modern renaissance man. Enjoy the photo set above.
