The start of winter may be just around the corner, but this season, Dick Moby looks to brighter days — and perhaps a tropical getaway or two — with its new range of eco-friendly shades. Founded last year by Tim Holland and Robbert Wefers Bettink, the eyewear brand’s frames are both high-quality and environmentally-friendly, and are designed in Amsterdam and handmade from bio-plastic acetate in the north of Italy. Each pair of shades, additionally, features ZEISS-certified lenses and substantial 5-barrel hinges, while classic unisex silhouettes such as the LAX, SFO and LHR Sunglasses offer a variety of styles for just about any face shape and taste. Better still, 10% of the brand’s revenues goes towards its ongoing project with the Surfrider Foundation — an organization dedicated to preventing plastic pollution — demonstrating that style needn’t come at the expense of sustainability.
