Headwear brand Flat Fitty recently settled into its new home at a 14,000 square foot facility located just a stone’s throw away from San Diego’s North County beaches. Completed just last year in November, the facility was designed to house the brand’s design, development, production, finance, warehousing, fulfillment and operations all under one roof. The interior was realized by Southern California interior designer Richard Lund along with FTFY CEO Christian Waters. Among the highlights are a glass-walled “Headwear Designer Inspiration” room with 10,000 hand-sourced fabrics from across the world and a mini skate ramp.
Its strong connection to various media can be seen with its special video game and entertainment area with two 65” WiFi TVs as part of the brand’s partnership with MineCraft licensee J!NX, an SMS Audio listening station linked with 50 Cent’s audio company and featuring DJ Whoo Kid x FTFY’s Mixtape series on rotation. The Wiz Khalifa Collection Viewing area is stocked with autographed and numbered pieces. The music presence is further solidified by the XXL Magazine DJ Booth. Creature comforts for staff include a fully-loaded gym, a mini-Café sponsored by RockStar Energy and a bar area contributed by Zing Vodka & Colt45.
