With a background in architecture, London-based artist Kyle Henderson melds his academic training with his found talent in sketching. Inspired by the symmetrical lines and angles found in buildings, Henderson’s work is both candid and obscure, aptly blending geometrical elements with mystical characters. While predominantly drawing on paper, his unique approach has also led him to working on large murals, most recently working on an untitled piece that’s based around disease and decaying architecture. For our latest Pen & Paper, Henderson takes us into the peculiar world of his scrapbook, where the perception of the human eye is often challenged by his compelling strokes. You can see more of Henderson’s work at his website here.
