This fall, Aberdeen-based Hanon has teamed up with Penfield for a collaborative take on the iconic Kasson mountain parka – a silhouette that made its debut back in the 1970s. Originally produced for British fighter pilots and still manufactured in England to this day, British Ventile – an old school performance fabric of densely woven untreated cotton – marks the jacket’s construction for a breathable, lightweight and water-resistant build. Contemporary updates also include hidden Velcro loop closures, tonal zippers and blacked-out adjustable drawstring cords along with details like tonal pile fleece lining, quilted wadding, an adjustable peaked hood, a bevy of pockets, and an adjustable interior waist synch. Topped off with collaborative branding patches, the Kasson Stealth Jacket is set to be available in-store and online from Hanon beginning November 30 for £250 GBP (approximately $405 USD).
