Nikon has released a new camera aimed directly at enthusiast photographers. The smallest and least expensive full-frame DSLR on the market, the Nikon D600 is built around a 24 megapixel CMOS sensor and boasts many of the same features as its more expensive cousin the D800. Additional features include a full coverage viewfinder, 39-point autofocus system, and the ability to capture full 1080p HD video at 30, 25 or 24 frames per second. An optional Wi-Fi unit is also available, allowing the camera to be controlled from an iOS or Android device. The camera is available for $2,099 USD for just the body or $2,699 USD with the 24-85mm F3.5-5.6 lens and will start shipping September 18.
