The Process and Making of the Killspencer Veil by James Jean OVM iPhone Case

Created for the launch of James Jean‘s new accessories collection under the James Jean OVM label, the Los Angeles-based artist and designer teamed up with Killspencer for the Killspencer Veil by James Jean OVM iPhone Case. Constructed out of brown rosewood for the iPhone 4/4S as well as the iPhone 5, the piece features Jean’s “Strata Coil” design front and center. Laser etched into the wood by the artist himself at his workshop, the design is then painted over in metallic gold before being hand-finished for added depth and clarity. Retailing for $100 USD, the unique iPhone case is now available exclusively from Lane Crawford.
