BET Networks announces the 'BET Hip Hop Awards 2011' Nominees

High times for Weezy F Baby this week. After nearly selling one million copies of his new album, Lil Wayne has broken another record this week. Mr. Carter has been nominated 19 times at the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards. The rapper is followed by Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa tied with 9 nods each and Rick Ross with 8 nods. Maybach Music’s rising star, Meek Mill, also announced his inclusion in the highly anticipated cypher segments of the show. The main event will take place at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center in Atlanta on Saturday, October 1 with the network premiere on Tuesday, October 11.
